2010 Alumni Social The Business meeting will be held at 6:00pm and the Alumni Social will be held at 7:00pm All 2010 Graduates need to attend the Social. This year there will not be a dinner but we will be providing a dessert for all to enjoy.

Dues and Donations
Alumni dues are $2 per year or $50 for a lifetime membership. Dues and donations can be mailed to the Alumni Association; via check payable to the Chelsea Alumni Association, c/o Charlotte Mullen, 67 Brocklebank Road, Tunbridge, VT 05077. Please be sure to include your name and the year you graduated.
Annual Banquet Social to be held June 5th!
On Saturday June 5th the Chelsea Academy and High School Alumni Association will be holding its annual meeting. This year the association has decided to hold its business meeting at 6:00 p.m., followed by a dessert reception and awarding of scholarships at 7:00 p.m. All are invited to attend one or both of the meetings. There will be no cost for attendance this year. If you would like to make a donation to the Alumni Association; you can do so by sending a check payable to the Chelsea Alumni Association, c/o Charlotte Mullen, 67 Brocklebank Road, Tunbridge, VT 05077. The reunion dates being recognized this year are 1940, 1945, 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, and 2005. Please feel free to invite other alumni whose years are not being recognized.

Alumni Scholarship Each year the Alumni Association gives out scholarships to graduating seniors who have decided to continue their education. Seniors must fill out an application and write an essay describing their goals in furthering their education. The winners are announced at the Alumni banquet and the scholarship funds are awarded the second semester of the graduates freshman year at the college/university that they chose to attend.
2009 recipients were Robyn Kennedy, Brenda Mannings, Andrew Richardson and Lukas Scheurer. Each recipient will receive $941.47.
Robyn Kennedy will attend Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA. She will major in Mechanical Engineering. Brenda Mannings will attend the University of Vermont in Burlington, VT. She will major in Nursing. Andrew Richardson will attend Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, SC. He will major in Forestry Resource Management. Lukas Scheurer will attend Rhode Island School of Design in Providence RI. He will major in Industrial Design.
If for any reason the recipient does not return to school for their second semester, their scholarship will be awarded to an alternate student. This year’s first alternate was Jodi Emerson, and the second alternate was Rebecca Frye. Jodi will be attending the University of New Hampshire and Rebecca will be attending the University of Vermont.
